Juanita was born January 21, 1912, in Independence, MO. She graduated from William Chrisman High School and the Conservatory of Music. She taught music at Jenkins Music Company. She is survived by four daughters, Ms. Ermin Lewis, Kansas City, MO, Ms. Mary Hinton, Independence, MO, Sheilah Orlan - do, Independence, MO, and Cormita Mossing, Sunnyvale, CA; two sons, Robert Andrist, Jr., Independence, MO, and Joseph Akers, Tucson, AZ; nine grandchil - dren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
