Ruby Lucille Snyder, 72, of Almyra, died July 20. She was born Oct. 8, 1936, in DeWitt to Ervin Phillipand Mildred Beatrice Malone. She was a member of Almyra Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Willie Ray Snyder Jr.; and a brother, Forrest Ervin Malone.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Willie Ray "Buddy" Snyder; children, Janeal Lane and her husband, David, of Almyra, Joe Snyder and his wife, Melanie, of Memphis, TN, and Kelly Snyder and his wife, Crystal, of Almyra; grandchildren, C.J. Wallace and his wife, Lindsey, LisaSnyderand Amber Snyder; two great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Frances Dennis and her husband, Ted, of Texas, Herbert Malone and his wife, Dot, of Texarkana, AR, Bobby Malone and Marie Wood of DeWitt, Roger Malone and his wife, Alta, of Stamps and Carolyn Gordon and her husband, Eddie, of Keiser.
Funeral services will be held July 24 at Almyra Baptist Church with burial in Thompson Cemetery by Essex Funeral Home of DeWitt.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. July 23 at the funeral home.
