- Edna Freeman, 83, of Dover died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2003, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
She was born in the Holman Community north of Lamar. Member of the Gospel Lighthouse Pentecostal Church, and was preceded in death by three sisters; one brother; and one grandchild.
Survivors include two sons, Bobby Mathews and Gary Freeman, both of Dover; two daughters, Paulette Helton of Dover and Margaret Matlock of New Blaine; four sisters, Louise Freeman of Gum Log, Mae McNeeley of California, Kathern Leavell of Dover, and Dorothy Grady of Edwards, Mo.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 26, at the Gospel Lighthouse Pentecostal Church with Rev. Bobby Freeman officiating.
Pallbearers were Kenneth Riggs, R. L. Williams, Ronnie Mathews, Danny McMinn, Jimmy Floyd, and Joe Hampton.
