- Elsie L. Bailey, 93, Waverly, Mo., formerly of this area, former owner of Bailey's Service Station, died Dec. 17, 1994, at a hospital in Carrollton, Mo.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Dickey Chapel, Harrisonville; burial in Floral Hills Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel. The family suggests contributions to the Harrisonville United Methodist Church memorial fund.
Mrs. Bailey and her husband owned the station near Harrisonville from 1952 until retiring in 1965. She was a member of the church. She was a member of the Cass Medical Center Auxiliary, Harrisonville.
She was born in Severy, Kan., and lived in El Dorado Springs, Mo., and in this area before moving to Waverly in 1990.
Her husband, Bert Bailey, died in 1964. Survivors include a stepson, R.V. Bailey, DeQueen, Ark.; and a sister, Opal B. Good, Ottawa, Kan.
