- Clyde is the son of George William Trent and Willie Addie Davis.
He married Bertha Alma Jennings on March 25, 1923 in Thornfield, Ozark, Missouri. One known daughter was born to this union: Maxine.
Obituary: "Services at Thornfield Nov. 30 for Clyde Trent: Clyde Trent, 55, died at his home near Thornfield at 10:20 Monday morning, Nov. 28, after an illness of three months, and funeral services were held Wednesday, Nov. 30, at the Thornfield Baptist Church. The Rev. Allen Ledbetter of Gainesville officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home.
Mr. Trent was born October 28, 1900, in Tennessee, the son of George T. and Willie Davis Trent, and was married 17 years -------Thornfield to Verdie Friend. He was a machine operator.
Survivors include his mother and wife; seven children, Maxine Ming of St. Johns, Kan., Elzie Trent of Garden City, Kan., Carl Trent of Kansas City, Jack, Jeral, Dean ---James and Ronnie Trent of Thornfield; three step-children, Ethel Kay Johnson of Seymour, Wanda ---- of Kansas City, and Eugene Trent of Garden City, Kan., and _____ ____ _____ brother, Walter Trent of _____ S.D."
