- Elmon Michael Sapp
Born December 13, 1925 in Mt. Carmel, Illinois to Elmon and Eleanor Sapp.
Elmon (Junior/Skip/Mr. Sapp/Dad/Papa) died September 8, 2010 at age 84.
In between the above dates he grew up in Southern California and Yuma area on his dad's ranches, served in WWII, graduated from U of A, taught 32 happy years at Amphi Junior High, volunteered at the Arizona Historical Society, sang in city choruses and opera chorus, acted in Carousel, supported the House of Neighborly Service, taught ESL, and visited his beloved family in Southern California. Best of all he and his wife raised two children who now pass on his love and his love of ice cream to their children.
Please celebrate Skip's life with his family at an ice cream social at Tohono Chul Park's Wilson Room, 7366 N. Paseo del Norte, just north of Ina Road, from 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Saturday, September 18, 2010. The family thanks the caregivers at Villa A and Casa de la Luz Hospice for the care given Skip this year. So many organizations need financial help that we ask that you support the Alzheimer's Association or a charity of your choice in lieu of flowers to honor Skip. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel.
