- William R. Just, 71, of Yukon, Okla., died Tuesday, Dec. 26, after a six-year battle with cancer.
He was born Jan. 25, 1929, in Salina. He graduated from Salina high in 1947 and attended Wichita State, Kansas Wesleyan and Kansas State University.
He married Nelva Lee Dunham on March 4, 1951. After serving, four years in the U.S. Navy, Mr. Just moved to Manhattan where he owned Town and Country Real Estate and was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church. He was also a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Oklahoma City.
Survivors include his wife of the home; son Randy Just; a brother, Andrew Just of Georgia; sisters Royanna Brix of Texas and Betty Flynn of Kansas; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 29, at Zion Lutheran Church in Oklahoma City. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Roselawn Cemetery in Salina.
Memorials may be made to the Mercy Hospice for home care, Zion Lutheran Church, or the charity of choice and left in care of the Mercer-Adams Funeral Service, Oklahoma City.
