- Jack A. Lindy, 66, of Evansville, died at 10:10 p.m. Sunday at home.
He owned and operated Lindy Guttering and Construction Co.
He was a Korean War Army veteran and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1114, American Legion Post 265, Masonic Lodge 30 in Washington, Ind., Scottish Rite, Hadi Shrine and its Drum & Bugle Corps, No Ruz Grotto, River Bend Association and Owls.
He enjoyed bowling and fishing.
Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Anna Mae (Babbs); his mother, Stella Best of Washington; a sister, Rebecca Newton of Washington; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Browning Funeral Home, the Rev. Rick Miller officiating, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, where Vanderburgh County Retired Veterans Memorial Club will conduct military rites.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, where Masonic services will be at 7 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to Deaconess-Ohio Valley Hospice or Hadi Shrine.
