She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ben F. Kolb, in 1962 and by Alec H.B. Fergusson, her second husband, in 1999.
Mary is survived by her brother; three children; six children; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
As Mary elected to bequeath her remains to scientific research, there will be no memorial service at this time. Though, friends and family are encouraged to celebrate Mary's life by enjoying a dish of ice cream - her favorite treat .
