- EUREKA, IL - Delores A. Polley, 67, of 205 E. Conover died at 11:49 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, 1998, at Methodist Hospital in Rochester, Minn.
Born April 18, 1930, in Posey County, Ind., to Roy and Cora Frances McIntyre Carl, she married Ralph Polley Sr. on July 4, 1953, in Griffin, Ind. He survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Charles of El Paso, Ralph Jr. of Eureka and Richard of Santa Fe, N.M.; two daughters, Carolynn O'Donnell of Peoria and Patricia Eaves of Fort Worth, Texas; one brother, Charles Carl of Poseyville, Ind.; four sisters, Betty Scott of Washington, Ind., Loretta Dunlap of Griffin, Marjilee Anderson of Indianapolis and Janice Yancy of Texas; and nine grandchildren. Two grandsons preceded her in death.
A 1951 graduate of Wellborn Memorial Baptist Hospital School of Nursing in Evansville, Ind., she was a registered nurse at Eureka Hospital, retiring in 1992. She was a member of Eureka Christian Church.
Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Griffin.
