Mr. Paul married Mary Downey, daughter of John Downey, and they went to Kansas City to live. He was foreman in the U.P. car shops, where, on Aug. 5, 1904, he was killed by a falling car wheel, at the age of 43 years. Since then the body had rested in a vault until Mrs. Paul could decide where to have it finally laid away. Mrs. Mary Paul, and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Paul, accompanied the remains from Kansas City.
