Before retiring, Mrs. Ray was a cook at the Missouri Baptist Hospital in Town and County for 32 years.
The funeral was held Monday at St. Peter Catholic Church in St. Charles.
Burial was at St. Charles Memorial Gardens, 3950 West Clay Street.
Among the survivors are three daughters, Barbara J. Aston and Diana L. Nichols, both of St. Charles, and Tina Doeller of O'Fallon; four sons, Ronald E. Shaw of Belot, Wis., Robert Lee Shaw of Troy and Terry Shaw and David N. Shaw, both of St. Peters; a sister, Genevieve Rieffer of St. Charles; five grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Memorials can be made to the American Diabetes Foundation or Leukemia Society in care of Baue Funeral Home, 620 Jefferson Street, St. Charles, Mo. 63301.
