Lillie M. Hicks, 83, of Lebanon, passed away at home Monday, January 25. Lillie was born January 16, 1927 to the late Norris and Pearl Duesner Lunbsden. She graduated from the Indiana School for the Deaf in 1946,where she met her late husband, Dorris Hicks, he preceded her in death in 2005. Mrs. Hicks worked for the Metzger Lumber Company for many years as a housekeeper and also cleaned many homes and local businesses. Lillie was a member of the Walnut Street Baptist Church in Lebanon. She enjoyed working cross word puzzles, spending time with her family and especially preparing meals and caring for her family as a homemaker. She is survived by her children, Dorian Hicks of Monticello, Janet Gilliam of Rockville and Eva Dent of Calhoune, Georgia; grandchildren, Ivy Willard, Dusty Hicks, Greg Summers, Jr., Kelley Gilliam, Tiffany Montgomery, Heather Hicks, Che McCoy and Megan Hicks. She was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Hicks.
