Henry Byron Lindy Obituary
Lindy, Henry Byron — Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday in the Knopsnyder & Sons Mortuary, Colton, for Henry Bryan (sic) Lindy, 62 6201 Wible Road, who died Nov. 5 in his home. The Redeemer Lutheran Church and the Masonic Lodge of Colton will officiate and interment will follow in the Hermosa Cemetery. Mr. Lindy was a native of Union, Ind., and had lived in a Kern County four years and in CAlifornia most of his life. He had been employed by the Pacific Fruit Express Co. as a forman-inspector for 36 years. He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star in Colton, and Loyal Star Lodge 39 in Tucson, Ariz. Survivors include the widow, Helen; son, Paul Wayne of the U.S. Air Force, Clovis, N.M.; and 4 grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Frank Thornberry, H. J. Liniger, L. S. Avery, Wayne J. Miller, James R. Fox and Harold J. Fox. Doughty-Calhoun-O'Meara Mortuary.
