Klinger Ancestral Home

Johann Philip Klinger was born in his ''ancestral home'' on 11 Jul 1723 in PfaffenBeerfurth, Odenwald, Pfalz, Germany. He died 30 Sep 1811 in Klingerstown, Dauphin, PA. The town named in honor of his brother Alexander KLINGER. He arrived in America aboard the ship ''NEPTUNE'' at the port of Philadelphia on 24 Sep 1751. He was a Revolutionary War Veteran, having served with the Berks County Militia, 2nd Company, 4th Battalion, PA Militia.
