Hears Bullets Whistle
No Trouble Keeping Awake, Says Salina Soldier.
Paul Andrist, the Salina boy who is with the Twentieth United States infantry at Texas City, writes to a relative in this city that he has no trouble in keeping awake while on guard duty as the Mexicans continue to whistle bullets across the Rio Grande. He says that the men on the border are becoming impatient for activity, guard duty being too commonplace.
