Frank Rizzo Obituary
Frank Rizzo, 84, of 929 Rutger St, a retired spinner in a Utica knitting mill, died today in St. Luke's Memorial Hospital Center.
He was born in Lauranzano, Italy. In 1912 he married Assunta Ambruso in Italy. The couple came to this country and to Utica in 1913*. She died in 1933. Mr. Rizzo retired in 1953.
He was a member of St. Mary of Mount Carmel Church and a life member of the Lauranzanese Societ of Utica.
He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Peter (Marion) Tenenini, and Mrs. Daniel (Rose) Cotrupe, both of Utica; and four sons, Rocco, Utica; Pasquale, Sacramento, Calif; Dominick and Michael, both of Utica.
Funeral arrangements by the Eannace Funeral Home are incomplete.
NOTE: The 1920 census shows their immigration year as 1912, which is more likely since Philomena was born in 11/1912 in Utica.
