- John L. Bunner of Brighton, a railroad car switchman, died Dec. 9. He was 79.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Tabor Funeral Home, 75 South 13th St., Brighton. There will be cremation.
He was born May 14, 1921, in Kansas City, Kan. He married Imogene Torode. She preceded him in death.
He retired from the Missouri Pacific Railroad after 35 years.
He served in the Army during World War II.
He was a member of Sons of the American Revolution and Ye Olde Auto Club of Brighton.
His interests included woodworking, golf, crochet, embroidery and making jewelry.
He is survived by a daughter, Mary Ross, Brighton; a sister, Betty Ramey, Alabama; three granddaughters; and two great-grandchildren.
