- Buddy R. Young, 64, of Evansville, died Friday morning at home of natural causes.
He retired after 19 years at the Evansville-Vanderburgh School System.
He was a Navy veteran and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1114.
Surviving are a son, Michael A. of Evansville; two sisters, Nancy Barker of Owensboro, Ky., and Juanita Theiring of Boonville, Ind.; a brother, Carson of Evansville; and a granddaughter, Chanice Young.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Alexander Funeral Home West Chapel, Thomas Theiring officiating, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park.
Friends may call from noon to 7 p.m. Sunday and from 11 a.m. to service time Monday at the funeral home.
