  		Sarah Grider Obituary Sarah K Grider died Friday at the home of her son, James Grider, in Lockhart township, after a lingering illness. The funeral took place Sunday morning from the Liberty church, Rev. E.M. Hale of this city conducting the funeral services. The remains were interred in the Liberty cemetery. Sarah K. Carter was born December 31st, 1825, in Cumberland county, Kentucky. Her first marriage was to Robert Gayheart to which union were born two children, Dudley Gayheart and Mrs. Jane McGlasson, both of whom survive her. On March 9, 1854 she was married to James V. Grider to which union were born five sons and five daughters, five of whom survive her. They are, Mrs. Mary Campbell, Mrs. Martha Phelps, and Charley, James and George Gryder. Mrs. Lydia Wilder, a step daughter also survives her. Deceased was converted early in life and united herself with the Cumberland Presbyterian church. After her second marriage she removed to Pike county after which she and her husband united with the Methodist Episcopal church, in which faith she died. She was sick for six months and bore her affliction with perfect patience. She never murmered or complained during all her long illness. Her last exhortation to her children was to live near to God and in love with each other. Her last words were, "Let us Live Low at Jesus' feet. C.C.B.W.
