- BOONVILLE -- Juanita "J.J." Theiring, 59, died at 10:50 p.m. Sunday, April 28, 2002, at St. Mary's Warrick.
Juanita attended the Townsend Bible Church in Newburgh, Ind. Juanita retired after 21 years with Alcoa Warrick Operations. She was active in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, also served as a volunteer for the Vanderburgh County Right to Life. Juanita loved her grandkids, doll collecting and flower gardening and arranging. She was preceded in death by her brother, Buddy Young, in 1998.
Juanita is survived by her husband of 40 years, Thomas Theiring of Boonville; her daughter, Sheri Urbina of Evansville; her son, Nathan Theiring of Newburgh, Ind.; one sister, Nancy Barker of Owensboro, Ky.; one brother, Carson Young of Evansville; and seven grandchildren, Natasha, Hannah, Alexandra and Noah Theiring and Elspeth, Willem and Zoe Urbina.
Funeral services 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, from the Koehler Funeral Home Boonville Chapel, with burial in Park Lawn Cemetery in Evansville. Pastor Mike Ward will be officiating. Friends may call today, April 30, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 8 a.m. until service time at the Koehler Funeral Home Boonville Chapel.
